First post!

This is the first post in my blog section - so proud!

This is the first blog post I made for my website. First, I decided for ButterCMS which is pretty awesome in general for blogging and creating some CMS for your website. Even more it is recommended since it’s free for personal use, but comes with some hesitation because you need to advertise them on your website and tweet about them - after that you need to contact their support to get your free license. A bit weird and “manually”, but yeah, okay that’s fine for what you get.

So I thought about other solutions. As a programmer and designer, I somewhat found markdown as a format pretty cool to work with, since it gives you much flexibility in terms of formatting. So, why not use it? I found some markdown-plugins for my tech stack which is the vue environment. I could implement it in my routing system and yay, it’s pretty dynamic and fun to work with it. Also, it’s incredibly fast and stable.

So, every thing blog-related you see here is dynamically rendered by importing .md-files. I’m exited if I will stick to this in the future or will come up with something whole different. web development changes everyday, so let’s see. Overall, I’m happy about my own approach on this instead of using a already existing solution. It’s what keeps a strive-to-learner awake at nights because he/she can’t not think about how to design an architecture, right? … right?
