Rush Ali
I'm Rush Ali, 32 years old, principled Designer B.A. and currently Team Lead Software Engineering @ B2C-Webshop flaschenpost.de, where I have been working for more than 8 years, focusing on the user journey of our Webshop.
I came to engineering through design, and that is still how I think: start with the person using the thing, then work backwards to the architecture. Tools, systems, small experiments - I learn most by taking something apart and putting it back together differently. Automation, programming languages, software architecture and the endless stream of new frameworks are the rabbit holes I go down most often.
Outside of work I render, photograph and sometimes illustrate. The renders lean towards architectural structures, fog and dark atmospheres; the photography chases the same thing by other means - the mood of a moment, in nature as much as in cities. Mostly I am just drawn to mundane objects and places seen from an angle nobody bothered with.
